2020 Voter Survey on Public Land

The fourth biannual Public Lands Survey of 500 registered Montana voters was commissioned by the University of Montana's Crown of the Continent and Greater Yellowstone Initiative (COCGYI) to garner better understanding of public land discussions. This year's survey took place between March 19-24th with a margin of error of +/- 4.38 percent. The 2020 survey looked at some new issues including: the value of outdoor businesses, the Montana Office of Outdoor Recreation, a proposal to federally protect Montana rivers, and a proposal to federally protect the Badger-Two Medicine region.

The results and an accompanying presentation summarizing the study are available for you to download.
